Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – May 12, 2026 – The College of Medicine at Alfaisal University proudly hosted the 9th Annual Mentorship Award Ceremony, recognizing outstanding achievements in mentorship, student support, peer guidance, academic leadership, and community service within the College of Medicine.
Held under the patronage of Dr. Khaled Al-Kattan, the ceremony brought together faculty members, teaching assistants, peer mentors, mentees, researchers, and medical students to celebrate the individuals who continue to strengthen the culture of mentorship and academic excellence at Alfaisal University.
The annual event honored exceptional contributors across multiple award categories, including the Mentorship Program Pillar Award, Mentorship Excellence Award, Mentor Recognition Awards, Peer Mentor Awards, and the prestigious Mentee of the Year Award. The ceremony highlighted the growing impact of mentorship programs in medical education and student development across Saudi Arabia.
This year’s ceremony also introduced three distinguished student recognition awards designed to celebrate leadership, humanitarian service, peer support, and research mentorship:
- The Dr. Mohammed Alsaddon Award for Exceptional Humanitarian and Community Service
- The Dr. Omar Almaraiti Award for Exceptional Peer Aid and Support
- The Dr. Abdulrhman Alkhateeb Award for Exceptional Research Mentorship
