United Arab Emirates University COM Delegates Visit Alfaisal COM

Delegates from College of Medicine and Health Sciences at United Arab Emirates University visited Alfaisal University College of Medicine on December 25, 2019. The visit was initiated by University tour, followed by a series of meetings with the dean of the College of Medicine Prof. Khaled Alkattan, and then College of Medicine’s leadership meeting. An overview of the COM academic curriculum, assessment process, Exam soft experience, E-learning implementation, research overview, and student’s achievements and contributions to the success of the learning process, activities and conferences have been discussed in means of improving the College of Medicine curriculum run at the United Arab Emirates University. Fruitful discussions as described by the delegate’s team have been witnessed especially for identifying gaps in their curriculum and assessment processes. The team showed interest in organizing future collaborations for workshops, students’ experiences, and trainings. The team also visited the Clinical Skills Department Simulation Labs. The tour was concluded by a visit to KFSH-RC genomics labs, which was led by Dr. Dana Bakheet.
