Impact Factor 26.866 Journal Paper from the College of Science

Dr. Alexander Kouzmenko, Professor of Molecular Biology and Life Sciences Program Director, has co-authored an article “Nuclear Receptors in Bone Physiology and Diseases” published in the April issue of the Physiological Reviews: http://physrev.physiology.org/content/93/2/481.abstract

The article is a result of the ongoing multilateral collaboration with researchers from the University of Tokyo, Keio University and Fukushima Medical University in Japan. It summarizes current progress in our understanding of the roles of various nuclear receptor-mediated signaling pathways in bone physiology and disease, and in development of advanced nuclear receptor ligands for treatment of common skeletal disorders.

The Physiological Reviews is one of the most visible and prestigious biomedical journals that has been consistently among the top highly cited scientific periodicals with the recent ISI Impact Factor of 26.866:
