July 21, 2026: Alfaisal University’s College of Business has earned the international accreditation from AACSB International (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), one of the world’s most established and respected accrediting bodies for business education, founded in 1916.
Earning AACSB accreditation marks an important milestone in the College’s journey toward academic excellence and further strengthens its position locally and internationally, and a testament to its continued commitment to delivering high-quality education, advancing its academic programs, strengthening learning outcomes and research, and building meaningful connections with the business community and society.
The accreditation is the result of sustained institutional efforts involving faculty, staff, students, alumni, and the College’s leadership. These efforts have included developing academic programs and curricula, strengthening quality assurance processes and assessment of learning outcomes, supporting research, developing academic capabilities, and expanding engagement with the business community.
AACSB accreditation is an internationally recognized benchmark for quality in business education. Its comprehensive evaluation process examines key areas including strategic management and innovation, the quality of programs and curricula, faculty qualifications, student success, academic and societal impact, and a culture of continuous improvement.

For Alfaisal University’s College of Business, the accreditation further enhances the academic and professional value of its programs and provides students and alumni with the distinction of receiving an education aligned with internationally recognized standards in business education. Commenting on the achievement, Dr. Bajis Dodin, Dean of the College of Business, highlighted that AACSB accreditation represents another step in the College’s ongoing journey of development, stating “The College has previously restructured its undergraduate programs to introduce contemporary areas of study, including Family Business and Business Analytics. At the graduate level, it has recently introduced specialized programs including the Accelerated MBA in Real Estate Development and the Executive MBA in Health Leadership”. The College is also preparing to begin admissions for its PhD in Business Administration across its specializations in the coming academic year.
