KFSH&RC visit

Alfaisal University faculty members from college of Pharmacy (CoP) visited King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre (KFSH&RC) in Riyadh on Tuesday 28th of November 2017, accompanied by Dr. Scott Bryson, is a Visiting Consultant from Strathclyde Institute of Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences- University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK. This visit was coordinated by Dr. Manal Alem, Director of Pharm D program at Alfaisal University and by Dr Ahmed, Director of Pharmaceutical Care Division at KFSH&RC,

The visit started with a tour of the Hospital whereby Dr. Abdulrazaq Al- Jazairi, Deputy Director of the pharmaceutical care division provided an introduction along with the history and the developments of the Pharmacy department. The tour of the KFSH&RC pharmacies included: inpatient, outpatient, satellite and intravenous admixture pharmacies, in addition to drug information centre.
